Band history (1/2)  2000
It all started when the founding members of Oriental Jam Simo Orpana and Kimmo Pekonen spent the summer 2000 dreaming and visioning about the music and life they would like to have. From the very beginning the vision was clear. Some day these fellows would have a band that could fulfill their dreams and ambitions about music and life.

In the fall of 2002 after Simo’s last band (Astrolab) had fell apart Simo and Kimmo met one evening in the streets of Jyväskylä. First there was a huge fight and then an understanding that now the time was right. It would be the time to complete the whole picture of their dreams about becoming a successful band.
